1. Event Details
The 8th edition of the 'Day of the Seafarers' is to be celebrated on Monday, 25th June, 2018 at 1500 hrs.
- Venue: Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Auditorium, Shivaji Park, Dadar (West), Mumbai-400028.
- Chief Guest: Shri Ravindra Kumar, I.A.S., Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India.
2. Programme Schedule
The programme includes arrival of the Chief Guest, guard of honour, invocation, welcome address, sharing of experiences at sea, keynote address on 'Mental Wellbeing of Seafarers', felicitation of seafarers and their children, addresses by dignitaries, cultural events, and a tea break.
Note: All seafarers, MTIs, ship owners, and related organizations are encouraged to participate in the event.
